You may feel an LLC is more suitable for you because it is often a more flexible form of ownership, especially suitable for smaller companies with a limited number of owners.

Yet there are important legal benefits to incorporating your business. The primary benefit is the safeguarding of personal assets against the claims of creditors and lawsuits. Individual proprietors and general partners are personally and jointly responsible for all the liabilities of a business such as loans, accounts payable and legal judgments.

In a corporation, however, stockholders, directors and officers typically are not liable for their company's debts and obligations. If one is personally involved in a lawsuit or bankruptcy, assets such as boats, cars and houses may be protected.

You can also easily transfer ownership of a business to someone else, either in whole or in part depending on the state. For instance, a person with a Delaware Corporation can transfer ownership of a corporation and not be required to file or record the transfer.

Another factor that makes incorporating a good decision is taxation. In the United States, corporations are taxed at a lower rate than individuals. In addition to the lower tax rates there are no limits on the amount of losses a corporation may carry forward to subsequent tax years.

Also corporations have the ability to raise funds through the sale of its own stock. You can raise capital from investors for your corporation easily through the sale of your stock. This can be crucial for expanding and developing a business.

Forming a corporation can also mean durability. Its existence is not affected by the death or absence of shareholders, directors, or officers of the corporation. In essence your corporation can exist indefinitely.

A corporation also has the ability to establish its own credit rating. Regardless of an owner's personal credit scores, corporations acquire their own credit rating, and build a separate credit history by applying for and using corporate credit.

Incorporating can be accomplished easily today in a number of ways. There are online resources where you can download incorporation forms or have a legal service complete the application process for you.

Ultimately you need to determine what your business goals are and decide if forming a corporation will work for you. Incorporating today has become a crucial step for many new business owners seeking to protect themselves and their business.

About the Author:

To learn more about forming and LLC or Incorporating your Business go to Legal Services Online. Whatever your reason, the prospect of starting a business is exciting, but daunting. If you’ve looked into it, you probably know the statistics: 96 percent of small business startups fail in the first three years. Who wants to risk those odds?

Fortunately, there is a better way to become your own boss, with a much higher success rate. You can buy an existing business and skip the startup struggle. Sounds great, right? Before you plug “business for sale” into your favorite search engine and start looking for offers, there are a few things you should know.

Buying a business is a process, not an event. If you head into the process without knowing what you’re doing, you negate the advantage of buying versus starting from scratch. Here are 10 tips to help you navigate the business market and pick a winner:

1. Do some research into the process of buying a business, and educate yourself on the steps you will have to take. Don’t rely solely on advice from an attorney or an accountant. You, the buyer, must know what is involved so you don’t get suckered.

2. Don’t start looking for businesses for sale, and then narrow your choices down according to what you find available. Instead, identify the type of business you’re going to run and look for those types of businesses for sale. This will save you a lot of time in the initial stages.

3. Speaking of the business you’re going to run, identify your strengths and weaknesses and let them determine your choice. It’s good to follow your heart, but sometimes the business you dream of running is not the best one for you to buy. Be honest with your self-assessment.

4. Prepare your personal financial statement beforehand. You will be required to produce one at some point. Don’t forget to check your credit report and rectify any mistakes.

5. Determine your investment level. Know exactly how much you’ll be able to invest yourself—don’t rely on friends or relatives who have “promised” to invest with you.

6. Your main objective should be to negotiate seller financing for a good part of the purchase price. However, you should consult an SBA (Small Business Administration) specialist to research all possible avenues of financing. The SBA provides loans for all types of entrepreneurs.

7. If you have a spouse and/or immediate family, make sure they’re on board with your vision of buying a business. Successful entrepreneurs have the moral support of those closest to them.

8. Consider using a business broker to help you with your purchase. Be sure to do your research and choose a reputable broker, and don’t rely on the seller’s broker to provide unbiased information.

9. Don’t be afraid to say no if you enter into negotiations and discover the business you’re looking at isn’t right for you after all. It’s better to temporarily hurt someone’s feelings than to be saddled with a business you hate.

10. The average business buyer spends 18 months looking for and buying a business. However, it is possible and feasible to complete the process in 6 months. Commit yourself to a deadline for buying (not just looking) and set aside at least 10 hours per week dedicated to the process.

It’s more than possible to realize success in buying a business. Do your homework, make smart decisions, and cultivate your patience and observation skills, and you can become a business owner without the startup hassles. But what if you are the retailer and your business is online? It’s not like you have a card-swiping device at every customer’s PC — there has to be a way for you to process that information. Essentially, that's the job a payment gateway does for online retailers. Roy Banks, president of http://Authorize.net, a leader in the payment gateway industry, explains, "We basically function as the digital version of a hardware point-of-sale terminal.”

What a Payment Gateway Does
They allow online merchants, like eStore owners and auction sellers, to accept credit card payments over the Internet by taking steps to ensure the transactions are legitimate:

1. They authorize the cardholder’s credit — that is, they check to ensure that the customer has enough money on their credit card to cover the charges.

2. They place a hold on that amount, so the buyer can’t turn around and spend that same money elsewhere before it gets transferred to the retailer’s merchant account.

Says Banks, "A payment gateway is just the technology necessary to consummate a payment transaction.”

A Payment Gateway's Role in Your Total Payment Solution
Many people confuse payment gateways with merchant accounts, but they're two different things. They actually work in conjunction to get your profits into your account; but they play separate roles in your online payment solution.

Your payment gateway and your business bank account aren't linked directly; your merchant account services act, for the most part, as a liaison. When a customer orders a product from your online business, their card is processed via your payment gateway. The money is moved over to the merchant account service, who then transfers those newly captured funds into your business bank account.

3 Tips for choosing a Payment Gateway:
1. Is it PCI-compliant? That means that the company’s security has been audited by a third party and found to be up to industry standards. Since payment gateways store all your customers’ credit card information (sparing you the stress), it also means you can sleep better at night, knowing your customers’ valuable info is safe and sound.

2. Good customer support. ‘Nuff said.

3. Lastly, it's important that the payment gateway you choose be integrated to the third-party solutions you're planning to use. You want your storefront platforms and shopping carts to be compatible with your gateway.

Payment gateways not only allow you to collect the monies from your sales, many also offer an array of security features, to help you avoid becoming a victim of fraudulent orders. In the end, they make your eCommerce business a less-stressful, more pleasant experience — for both you and your customers.

About the Author:

Product Sourcing Radio is Created and Hosted by Chris Malta and Rob Cowie of WorldwideBrands.com, Home of OneSource: The Internet's Largest Source of Genuine, Factory-Direct Wholesalers for online sellers. Click Here for FREE E-Biz & Product Sourcing info!

Read more articles by: Chris Malta & Robin Cowie

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

Understanding Consumer Buying Trends - Building Dynamic Product Lines

The ability to detect trends can tell you what consumers want now, but the ability to interpret where those trends are headed will help you predict what they’ll be looking for tomorrow. This can really give a retailer a big edge, particularly when it comes to selecting product lines.

What is a Trend?
More than just a group of popular items that everyone is buying, a trend is actually an expression of what matters to consumers at the moment. It’s a sign of what they’re excited about. Unlike fads, which come out of nowhere, trends evolve and morph with rhyme and reason.

A trend can give you many ideas of what products might be popular in certain groups. For example, the trend towards natural living could inspire a whole line of products, because people are currently interested in that.

Trend Analysis
Lisa Suttora of http://WhatDoISell.com explains, "Trend analysis means looking at the buying habits of a definable group of customers that you can get coming back time and again.” When you're paying attention to the products your target market is looking for, you can get a feel for where the trends are headed, so you’re not sourcing products in a vacuum.

Though it may initially take you more time to study market trends, it will save you time in the long run. You won’t be stuck trying to figure out why you can’t move products, and you won’t waste money just guessing at what you think will sell.

How Do I Become a Trend Spotter?
Spotting trends is a learned ability — it doesn’t require you to be trendy. But it does require discipline, so make it a habit to research trends daily. There are many avenues you can use to help you research:

• Most major search engines offer keyword tracking tools that show you how many people are searching for a given item. Worldwide Brands's product sourcing tool, OneSource, includes a built-in market research function that can show you how likely a product is to be successful online, based on market statistics.

• Consumer magazines and web sites are great sources for gathering information.

• Trade shows, associations, and publications can provide you with current trending information, as well as a preview of new products, not yet on the market. Though trade publications tend to be pricey, the information in them is the result of millions of dollars of research and projects out from twelve to eighteen months, which really gives you a jump on buying trends that haven’t even evolved yet.

• The media can supply valuable trending stats — newspapers often give numbers and demographics. Look for indicators of growth and decline. You want to get in on the upswing of a trend — not when it’s on its way out. Document everything so that you have it all in front of you and don’t forget anything important when you sit down to analyze the results of your research.

The key is to be consistent and do your research daily. Says Suttora, “Studying trending information is not something you do once and then stop. Every successful business owner is going to continually be reinventing their product line on an ongoing basis.”

How To Choose A Video Production Company For Your Business

Finding and hiring a video production company for your business can be frustrating and risky for a small business owner, often having to take a crash course in video technology and hoping for the best. But by following these three considerations when choosing a video producer, you can drastically increase the chances that your video project will be responsive, visually stunning, and pay for itself many times over.

1. Determine the size of the production company you need. Although there are many factors that determine the cost of a video shoot (as explained later), the first consideration for staying in budget is the type and size of the production company. Large production companies have multiple studios and sound stages, editing suites, and a sizeable staff. These are the people that television stations and Hollywood producers call on when they need a local production for television, cable, or film. They are very experienced and produce fantastic results, but a considerable price tag must accompany such overhead. Often they are unable to service small businesses because they cannot accommodate such small budgets, as they'd usually have plenty of calls and projects from clients with deep pockets keeping them busy. The next step down is a smaller, full-time production company. Small and medium sized businesses are the core of their clientèle, so they are compelled to keep a video project as lean as possible, yet deliver the best possible quality for the money being paid. These production companies may have a small, single studio and editing suite, or they may work out of their home studio and rent a sound stage when the project calls for it. There may be one or two full time employees, and the rest are contract crew on a per-project basis. This helps translate into lower production costs for you. The final category of video producers is part-time, weekend-only videographers. These producers have a camera and a computer, and want to make some extra money on their free time. They can often underbid anyone else in town, because they already have their full time job and any extra money on the side is fine with them. But their ability to understand corporate, commercial, and broadcast needs are limited, and often shows in the quality of their production...it just looks like really good quality homemade video.

Choosing a medium-sized, full time production company will give you the most bang for the buck. This is not to say that large companies intentionally price themselves out of range for small businesses, some may be very willing to work with you. It's just that a large production house will probably not be as eager and excited to earn your business for a $2000 project when they're used to getting calls for $20,000 jobs on average. You don’t need to directly interrogate each company about the size of their business. Look at their website and see examples of their clients…if they seem to favor Fortune 500 companies, TV stations, and feature films, then you can assume that they’re a large production company. Or if you see a 30,000 square foot facility with immaculate furnishings, you can deduce that the price tag they give you will be sizeable.

2. Compare company demo reels to see who can give the best quality for your budget. Once you’ve determined the size of the video company to use, then it’s time to compare demo reels among the companies in your price range. One of the main factors that will determine visual quality in the portfolios is the format the project was shot on. Video technology changes drastically every 4-7 years, and what was broadcast quality 15 years ago with $50,000 cameras can be achieved with a $5000 HD camera today. The producer should match the video format with what provides the best noticeable quality for your budget.

There are many other factors that can determine the overall quality of a video production, but choosing the format is the foundation upon which many other costs are built upon. You have to ask yourself, "Will spending X amount of additional dollars on a higher-end format increase my response rate or accomplish my objectives better?" If you’re doing a TV spot, then quality is critical for that first impression. For an employee training video, immaculate image quality is probably not critical. That’s why it is the opinion of this author that the HD format offers the best balance of quality and cost, for any type of video production. As you watch the demo reels and portfolios of various production companies, pay attention to not only the mere image quality, but also the lighting, camera movements, and audio quality. One way to practice this is while you’re watching TV at home. Instead of zipping past the commercials of the show you’ve tivo-ed, watch and focus on the details of how national commercials are shot. Notice the smooth diffused lighting, the track/dolly camera movements (i.e., not much zooming!), and the deep contrast with vivid colors. Even if your video project is not a commercial spot, you can train your eye to notice quality by comparing it with the standard.

3. Consider the professionalism and business practices of the company. After a budget is finalized, the producer should create a treatment (blueprint for the video) upon which your contract will be based. You should know ahead of time exactly what will be done, what equipment will be used, what crew will be hired, and how each scene will be storyboarded. Granted there is an element of creativity that will vary and not necessarily translate directly onto paper, but strive to have everything in writing so that there are no misunderstandings or faulty expectations. Consider the personality and professionalism of the salesman, the director, or producer you are working with. Do you sense that he understands your industry or is eager to learn about it? Does he provide valuable input without being pushy or cocky? There should be a free flow of input into the project from both sides, without any ego problems. These traits may seem trivial, but video producers can be a creative and finicky bunch that take their art very seriously. It is paramount to have not only a creative team, but one who puts your needs and goals above their own.

About the Author:

Paul Lyke is managing director of MidSouth Visual, Inc., a Nashville video production agency.

Read more articles by: Paul Lyke

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

Countless "Biz Ops" Everywhere, Are They All Scams?

For months, I have been researching numerous biz ops, ebooks, schemes, network marketing websites as well as just about every other thing you can think of that is in any way related to making a decent income on the internet. Briefly, outsourcing knows no limits and in today's context it may not be an overstatement if we say that outsourcing in several developed countries of the world can now be classified in an A to Z Directory! This admirable "employment generator" has brought the business world much closer though there may be quite some negative thoughts on outsourcing from several quarters. However, the snowball effect of outsourcing is now so popular that nearly every business is utilizing the benefits of cheaper or better stated "lower overhead" job distribution and delegation of tasks to freelancers around the world. It is time now to also consider how outsourcing should take place and what we need to reflect upon to make it a success. This is the careful art of "outsourcing" that must be converted to some extent into a "science" as well!

Is Outsourcing a Drain on National Job Opportunities?

Well, it can still be a million dollar question! However, a simple answer to this query is no. There are two reasons for outsourcing projects. One is when there is no local or national expertise on a topic or service and the other reason for outsourcing is the economics of the project. In the latter case it is wise to think of the good deed one may be doing since it is indirectly related to employment generation. Outsourcing should only be considered when there is no fear of security or information "leak out". The most relevant fields where outsourcing of projects does not cause any harm is writing, data entry, web designing, software innovations, net marketing in a global sense (here the concept is more of remote agencies working for the benefit of the company - just like in the case of affiliate business) etc.

Ponder before you Outsource!

The two contrasting axioms one must carefully ponder upon are:

"Two heads are better than one"
Or
"Too many cooks spoil the broth"

To derive the most benefit out of any enterprise or job one needs more inputs and here the first axiom certainly has an impact. Global exposure is the name of the game today and many companies or organizations striving towards an international input or presence. Outsourcing therefore helps in achieving this objective.

The second idiom can also be true if the outsourcing is carried out in a haphazard manner or due consideration, investigation, or background not collected prior to allocating jobs and projects. It is also quite confusing if one depends on too many sources for a job - for example, too many writers contributing to a single project can throw the impact completely out of gear!

Whenever a need arises to outsource a job or project beyond national frontiers it is better to choose an agency that can really amalgamate and understand the job. Careful gathering of information and capabilities will go a long way in achieving that perfect "outsourcing" principle.

With the advent of Internet - The world is small!

There was a time when we could not outsource small jobs or medium size projects to expertise available at more affordable cost around the world. Only collaborations with their accompanying costs could be executed and everything took a longer time to complete. Today the situation is entirely different and we are in a position to minimize the turn around time for better realization. One must therefore consider "outsourcing" as an executive assistance rather than a job snatcher!

This "Careful Art" aims at completing tasks in the best possible manner and in the minimum period for efficient time management. Outsourcing is a concept that assists you in quickly completing your tasks and need not always be cheaper than local bidding - though it generally is! It is better to research the credentials of the agency prior to outsourcing - lest you be caught on the wrong foot!

About the Author:

http://www.outsource2global.com/ - Global Outsource Partner. But it’s a very complicated process, and not one you want to go through alone. “Customs brokers and freight forwarders are your gateway into the world of international trade,” explains Custom House Broker Don Hoffman, of http://EveryOnlineShoeStore.com. “For commercial shipments, you’re legally required to utilize the services of a licensed broker. They’re the experts in getting the documentation and duty payments through Customs.”

Getting Good Help
Since most freight forwarders employ brokers to handle any customs issues, you might start by contacting a forwarder as soon as you make the decision to import products into the U.S.

You can find a forwarder in the yellow pages or search engines, but doing so is like playing the lottery—you have no idea what you’ll get. The real problem is sorting through third-party operations, posing as forwarders, who are really nothing more than middlemen, marking up your end costs. The safest way to find a reputable forwarder is through trade associations or publications.

A forwarder can help you calculate your costs up front to determine if you can be competitive with a product. Your manufacturer should be able to give you the tariff number for your product, which your broker will use to give you the local U.S. duty rate. You have ten days to pay once the goods have been cleared in the U.S.; but most companies pay within eight, to give themselves room, in case of processing errors.

Bond Options
When importing, you’re required to buy a bond that acts as insurance with Customs, in the event you should default on duties—although the bond doesn’t relieve you from legal repercussions should that happen. Bond companies underwrite the value of the shipment plus the duty, with either a single entry or annual bond. If you only plan to import once or twice a year, the single entry bonds are more affordable. But if you’re receiving goods on a regular basis, the cost of an annual bond may pay for itself. You need to make your determination based on the number of shipments you’ll be bringing in.

A Paper Trail
Your manufacturer will send you certain papers:

•a commercial invoice
•a packing list
•a detail sheet (depending on the type of product) that breaks down the components of a product and the way they’re manufactured so Customs can determine the duty classification
•an airway bill or bill of lading

You will need all these documents when you pay duties to Customs to prove what you owe; as the importer, you’re legally responsible for obtaining them.

Delivery Arrangements
Once you have your paperwork, let your forwarder know the goods are ready. They’ll contact the supplier, process the shipping bill, and book the shipment on your behalf. Your forwarder should be able to price out your shipment in various ways to see which would be most cost-effective. Air shipping is often overlooked as being too pricy, but it doesn’t require many of the minimums that ocean freight does and there are far fewer incidental charges involved.

Bringing commercial goods into the U.S. is an involved procedure, but don’t let the intricacies scare you. With qualified assistance, it can be a very profitable undertaking. Says Hoffman, “It’s labor-intensive; you have to follow through with everything. The key is to get good help—they can really guide you through the process and ensure you’re in ship-shape.”

Make Money On Ebay

If you do not have a website, one of the easiest and most profitable ways to make money online is with eBay. It is the largest online auction site, drawing millions of people every day. It is the first place most people check out when they are looking for items, both new and used.

You can sell almost anything on eBay from small inexpensive 99-cent items to cars, boats, real estate, and everything in between. By placing your item on eBay, you are placing it in front of millions of prospective buyers.

There are many ways to make money on eBay. I started out as a seller by trying to get rid of leftover items from a garage sale. I listed some books, clothes, and toys. I made a very small profit on the toys, a reasonable profit on the clothes, and a very nice profit on the books. That’s all it took for me to get hooked on eBay.

From that day forward, my goal was to make money by finding as many bargains as possible and selling them for a profit on eBay. I had always loved garage sales but now I had an additional reason for seeking out bargains.

I armed myself with as much knowledge as I could find by using eBay tools to search out certain items and learn what they sold for. I also learned how to determine the value of those items by a lot of trial and error. I only worked with items that I was reasonably familiar with and felt comfortable trying to sell.

Once I felt confident enough to start my eBay selling, I started scouring garage and yard sales, estate sales, and local auctions. I also used my local newspaper classifieds. Bargain hunting became my “business” and it was a business that was always challenging and exciting.

The more knowledgeable I became, the easier it was for me to find great bargains. I learned how to know if an item had profit potential by looking at it. I was amazed at what some people considered “junk” and the prices they sold for. (Remember, most people can be “haggled” with to get the price even lower!)

My most successful items (remember, I just chose a few that I was comfortable with) were items I bought at estate sales like textiles (bedspreads, doilies, etc.) and old tools. “Old stuff” sells quite well on eBay if the item’s condition is good. If the condition is not good, make sure you are honest about that in your ad. You will still get bids.

I would not recommend attempting to sell items you know nothing about. If there are certain items you would like to sell, make sure you acquire as much information about them as possible. You should know what the item usually sells for and how much it is really worth. You do not want to lose money; you want to make money!

Once you are ready to start selling, learn about eBay’s rules and guidelines for selling. When you click on the word “sell” on the main eBay site, a page comes up that contains many resources and tools for sellers. Make sure you read over all of the information because it will increase your chances of being successful at selling on eBay.

Now you are ready to sell. Your ad is the most important piece of the selling game on eBay. The text and graphics in your ad will have a huge effect on the price you can get for your items. The better your pictures and description are, the better your price will be.

You will need to decide how long you want your auction to run. There are 3-day auctions and 7-day auctions. As a rule, the 7-day auctions are good because it gives people a longer time to bid up your items. Of course, the items you are selling sometimes dictate which type of auctions you should use. Make sure you check to see which type of auctions similar items sell for.

You can also choose to include a “Buy it now” button. This button allows buyers to purchase your item instantly at whatever price you set. Before you use this option, make sure you are comfortable with the price you are setting and make sure the price is not too low.

How do you make money on eBay? Do your homework, find your items, list your items, and wait for the bidding to begin! It IS possible to make money on eBay!

About the Author:

Read the real life story of a housewife who earns thousands of dollars every month on eBay! http://www.ezniche.com/data/article.php?l=72

Read more articles by: Chris Chenoweth

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

8 Essential Tips On How To Write A Sales Letter

Before you can embark on the monumental task of writing effective sales letters, there are certain things you have to possess first and it’s not having a deeper vocabulary or the eloquence of a poet. Rather, you need to possess adequate grammar skills (knowing the difference from their and there is a start), knowledge of your target market, and familiarity with sales letters in general. If you have all of those down to pat then it’s definitely time for you to write one yourself.

8 Essential Tips on How to Write a Sales Letter

Tip #1 Establishing Rapport with Your Reader – Start by addressing your reader personally. Rather than writing Dear Madam, go ahead and write Dear Martha. Use “you” instead of “one”, “he”, or “she” when writing the rest of your sales letter. Use a friendly and conversational tone so that a customer won’t hesitate later on to make his inquiries or voice out any of his concerns. And at the end of your letter, sign it personally so that it would truly seem like a private letter between you two than just something that’s mass-produced.

Tip #2 Establishing the Facts Pronto – Your first paragraph – not counting the ones which are made up of greetings and other courtesy lines for your customers – must contain basic information about who you are and why you’re writing to them. By the end of the paragraph, you should have also established your credibility and thus providing them the necessary reason to read more of what you have to say.

Tip #3 Validate Your Claims – The following paragraphs should validate what you have initially claimed in your first paragraph. You can use graphical presentations, statistics, facts from well-established authorities, success stories, and anything else that will let your readers know you’re for real.

Tip #4 Use the Appropriate Writing Style and Approach – Knowing the answer to this will depend greatly on how familiar you are with the wants and needs of your target market. If you are catering to teenagers for instance then they’ll greatly appreciate it if you use simple and hip terms. Speak their language in other words!

Tip #5 Be Careful about Using Graphics – Pictures may speak a thousand words, but they’re not at all easy to download in the Internet. They are better used in direct mail sales letters, but if you’re willing to give them a shot for online use, make sure they’re edited with SEO in mind. Keep them small, reduce their quality without sacrificing image presentation, and provide them with captions.

Tip #6 Make It Unique – Sales letters may use the same formula over and over, but those that are successful will have certain unique features or memorable lines included in their letters. Yours must have one or two of those as well. Making your sales letter unique and original in at least one part of it will ensure that your readers will enjoy better recall of your company’s offers.

Making your letter unique is easier said than done, but one way to do it is by concentrating on what your company has and others don’t.

Tip #7 Creating the Best Subject Line and Title – Writing titles are sometimes more difficult than writing the actual content. To make this task easier, it’s best to leave them at the end. Once you’ve completed the content of your sales letter, you’ll usually have an easier way of summarizing everything up with the appropriate subject line and title. As you go about forming them, just make sure you keep them brief but interesting. Ultimately, titles and subject lines must be able to explain the gist of your sales letter but at the same time serve as an irresistible invitation to read more about it.

Tip #8 Ending with a Strong Call for Action – Anyone with any knowledge and experience in writing sales letters will always tell you to end with a strong call for action, and this article won’t be any different because it’s truly integral. After all the things you’ve said in your letter, you have to remind them at the end what your point was in writing in the first place. Emphasize the need and urgency behind the action!

Follow these eight tips, and your sales letters are sure to attain their objectives!

About the Author:

Mario is a freelance author and has many articles on various subjects. The way you think has an effect on your business and thinking positively or negatively may make or break you. How does a person's thought processes affect a business? What is the correlation between the way your mind works and how successful your business is and will be?

The way a person's mind works is so intricate that digging deep into it to figure it out may be a pretty tough call, however, there is evidence that proves how positive thinking often brings positive results. This positive thinking equals positive results phenomenon is brought about by the possible solutions one can come up with when faced with a problem.

Every now and then, when a problem arises within your business organization, how you deal with the problem can either help your company move forward or backward. With the positive results that can be had with positive thinking, you will do well to make your mind run on that path. An example of such positive thinking would be when your business experiences temporary losses due to seasonal fluxes and instead of buckling under the pressure of such losses, you go with the flow and calmly assess the situation to come up with countermeasures to counteract such losses.

Having the proper positive mindset when running a business not only helps you realize your company's potential but helps keep things in the proper perspective. If you keep thinking positive about your business in the proper context and within the boundaries of reality, you save yourself from a lot of headaches that needless negative thinking may generate. Looking at the brighter side of the situation will also help you come up with timely solutions for certain business problems you may not have been able to solve had you faced it negatively.

Positive thinking can be cultivated in a person's psyche through hypnotherapy or self-hypnosis. Making yourself think in a better light about how you can run your business and how to solve the ever emerging problems associated with running a business will not only help your money making ventures but your personal life as well.

Find out how you can benefit from thinking positive and how you can train your mind to think in this light and you will eventually be reaping the positive rewards positive thinking brings.

About the Author:

For more information on business development and a business development strategy that works, check out Richard's website.

Read more articles by: Richard MacKenzie

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

The Good, The Bad, And The Illegal

Multi-level marketing has touched everyone in one way or another. If you don't think so, just check out your kitchen cupboard. Do you see some Tupperware in there? Maybe a little Rubbermaid? Even the generic versions of food keepers stem from companies like Tupperware, which has made a name for itself for generations. Tupperware is just one of hundreds of mlm companies in existence today. They have survived, however, while others have floundered. Basically three categories exist in the world of the MLM company: the good, the bad, and the illegal.

The good MLM company begins with a few characteristics. First of all, a great company will not require a huge financial investment from its salespeople. Certainly all sales people must invest in their company in one way or another, but a good company will require minimal investment and will also allow the sales person to sell back inventory at a high price should he or she decide to pull out of the company. These same companies will maintain their legality by asking sales people to sell their products and not to sell the ability to sell the product. Some companies will give incentives for bringing another salesperson under an employee's wing, but no company should lead an initial sales person to draw his or her income solely off new sales people. That leads us into the bad companies.

A bad MLM company will conversely require a significant financial investment with little promise for buying inventory back. Furthermore, it will require hours of work for little pay. Additionally, a bad MLM company will offer its sales people little to no training besides a pitiful field manual and the products they should sell.

Finally, the illegal MLM company will hopefully not stay in business long, but they still exist. How can you tell if it's illegal? The sales people become managers who never sell a product. They suck their sales people dry by taking a part of their profits, and they invest little financially while taking huge returns on a job where they once sold but now do nothing.

Watch out for these companies. The legitimate MLM company does exist, but before diving into any MLM opportunity, a person should research the company fully.

About the Author:

Anna Hugi is a sole parent of three young boys. These people may have succeeded in the corporate world, or in a regular job. They may be university graduates. They are just looking for an easier way to live their lives.

These are societies adventurers. They are separated from the ‘lazy’ segment of society by the fact that they work much harder at making their ‘get rich easily’ schemes work than most CEOs work at making corporate America work.

These people are often seen as dreamers. Their motivation may to stay at home and raise the children, get out of the rat race, build multiple streams of income, start building wealth by investing, or to do a better job than their boss did. However, their drive is to succeed.

The second group are innovators.

Innovators come from two places. They may be part of the newly defined Indigo personality type. These people may, or may not be geniuses. They help others, and often self destruct because they were forced to fit into the 4 main personality types, living in a cubical, and forced to maintain the status quo.

The second type of Innovator may, or may not, be a genius. In fact, they probably have never been tested. They just know that they are trapped in the corporate world. They probably have not reached a level of success that challenges their capabilities – but one, or more, managers have launched their careers by stealing this innovator’s ideas. When there is a deadline, or problem, this innovator is forced to solve it – and they do.

Where to You Fit?

Women have a harder time determining where they fit in this scheme then men. A man works from home and he is left alone for most of the day. However, women are often expected to take on the housework, run errands, and stop working when the family arrives home at night.

I am mentioning this because these things must be addressed before the woman leaves the workforce. Statistics have proven that even a simple task like ‘throwing a load of laundry in’ can substantially tip the balance between success and failure.

Men have their own problems to face. The number one mistake they make is asking their wives to work as secretaries. Wives rarely have the skills, or motivation, needed to succeed. If they did, they’d be in the workforce. Do yourself a favor and either do your own paperwork – or hire a ‘real’ secretary – a skilled worker.

The odds are, if you see yourself in one of the top categories then you will make an excellent, and successful entrepreneur.

If you fit into the first category, then you probably do not have the management skills needed to succeed, but now that you are aware of that drawback, you can remedy it easily.

People who fit into the second category can easily succeed, but they may find themselves trying to diversify too much.

A good manager starts any endeavor by focusing on themselves first. Measure your own strengths and weaknesses and find a business that ‘fits’ your skills, drive, and personality.

About the Author:

Mark Walters is a third generation entrepreneur and author. This article will explain the basic elements that go into making an ecommerce site work.

E-Commerce opportunities on the internet are mind-boggling. Ecommerce transactions in the U.S. are projected to hit $198 billion in 2006 according to shop.org. According to eMarketer, Canadian consumers spent $3.8 billion online in 2004 and that number is expected to rise to $5.7 billion in 2006.

There are four main costs to setting up an ecommerce store:

1.Hosting costs/shopping cart software

Hosting costs for an ecommerce shopping cart solution range from free to $79.95 per month or more. Before you purchase a shopping cart system, there are many things to consider.

When choosing shopping cart software, you need to consider the number of credit card processors and shipping services it supports. Credit card processors and shipping services can change, so the software will need to be easy to update and be well supported to keep up with the changes in the market.

You will also need to consider how easy it is to set up and add products and how easy it is for the customer to use. Shop in some the shopping cart’s sample stores before you make your decision.
It is also important to determine if it can handle the tax system where you are selling and if it supports your chosen method of shipping, whether it is by weight, fixed amount, or both.

You also have to consider the company who will be hosting your site and/or shopping cart. If your shopping cart is going to be hosted by the same company that hosts your site, you need to ensure that it will be fully supported. You will also need to ensure that your order forms and shopping cart will be secure. Ask your web hosting provider if your hosting package includes the use of their secure server (SSL) or if it will cost extra. Most commercial shopping carts are hosted separately from your site, and the SSL is included in the montly fees you will pay for the software.

Some popular shopping carts are:

• X-Cart - A popular commercial shopping cart.

• Oscommerce - This is an open source based online shop, (so it’s free!) but it is not easy to set up for a 'newbie'. You will also need to find a host that supports it.

• Zencart.com – Another free open source program that is maintained by volunteer efforts. It is based on oscommerce, and a little easier to set up. Like any open source program, however, it does not have support staff to help you if you are stuck. To solve any problems, you have to rely on forums and other users to help you.

• Cartville.com

• Paypal – Paypal offers a free shopping cart, but it does not work with many tax systems, like the one in Canada.

2.Development Costs

Whether you hire someone to develop and customize your store or you do it yourself, there are costs involved. You will need to customize the color, logo, shipping, tax and addresses, just to name a few. You will also have to set up your products and product options.

3.Cost of a merchant account

The next cost involves setting up a method of receiving credit card payments on-line.

Setting up a Paypal account is the least expensive option (2.9% + $0.30 USD per transaction at the time of writing). Costs for your own merchant account are higher – there are usually set up fees ($500+), transaction fees (up to 3% per transaction) and a monthly flat fee as well. If you already have a merchant account set up off-line, an e-commerce account will be significantly cheaper.

4.Promotional Costs

You should also budget for advertising and search engine marketing to drive consumers to your site. After all, what good is having a store if no one comes to shop?

This article is by no means all encompassing, but it does cover the basics of selling online. An ecommerce site is an affordable way to sell your products to your customers. Compare the costs with setting up a physical store front – the cost of selling on-line is truly cost-efficient. But Beware! Even though opportunities abound in today’s market, if you try to run an ecommerce website on the cheap you will ultimately limit its potential.

Good luck with your store!

About the Author:

Colleen Happ provides insightful information about marketing and web design. Since I have been successful for many years, many people have requested my advice on how to make their online MLM venture succeed. My usual advice to them is that they should not be too focused on their product because the key to increasing sales is to expand their sales force. They should look for business opportunity seekers who are willing to earn money.

The positive fact is that there are countless business opportunity seekers out there. People are now aware of the money making opportunities that are available on the Internet. The drawback is that not all business opportunity seekers are suitable for your business. Instead of spending your resources on a widespread advertising blitz that mostly reaches people who are not interested in following up your offer, you should narrow down your ads to a select group of business opportunity seekers who are genuinely interested in your venture.

The best way to find suitable business opportunity seekers is to purchase a few hot mailing lists from reputable sources. These mailing list contain hundreds of names and email addresses of business opportunity seekers who are searching for operations that will help them make money. These are persons who voluntarily posted their information and are waiting for employers to contact them. This makes targeted mailing lists a lot more reliable than generic lists. There is no need to worry that those you contacted through mailing lists might interpret your offer as spam. Your emails will only be sent to a captive audience of willing prospects.

If you’re planning to increase your sales force or advertise your services and products to selected business opportunity seekers, then you should buy some MLM mailing lists. However, you should examine the seller’s reputation before you pay for a mailing list. You don’t want to waste your money on a list that contains stale names or invalid email addresses.

About the Author:

Morgan Hamilton offers expert advice and great tips regarding all aspects concerning Business Opportunity Seekers. The advantages are great. You can wake up at 7.30 in the morning and start work five minutes later. Many of these opportunities only require a computer, high speed internet connection and a phone.

You can work around your family life and forget completely about office politics. You become the boss and answer to only yourself. So how does one evaluate a home business opportunity or franchise? In this article I will examine the types of businesses that one should be highly sceptical off or even avoid altogether.

Avoid any multi level marketing scheme where you cannot see a market for the end product or the retail price of the product is far too high. One such scheme I researched recently involved selling vitamins at much higher prices than the high street prices. They justified their costs due to the fact that they had a superior product. Now in my experience if you as an agent are trying to sell a very expensive product why should normal people trust your product to be superior to a major high street store?

Be highly sceptical of gambling schemes that persuade customers that their chances of winning are higher through them then buying normal lottery tickets from the supermarkets. Most are crafty schemes designed to take money of normal people without any payout or much lower percentage of payouts then normal lottery tickets.

Definitely avoid any products that have not yet been independently tried, tested and approved. One such product that I heard about recently claimed that it could save users a lot of money on their fuel costs. The idea is that you use their product in your vehicle on a regular basis and you can achieve savings of over twenty five percent! I do not know if this product works or not. My main concern is that if it worked as well as it is claimed to do, why have the major car producers not yet latched on to it? Why have the large motoring organisations not yet recommended it to their members?

Avoid any scams that involve fortune telling, psychic ability or magic. Many of these are cleverly designed to take money of people who are easily fooled. Have you have heard of the saying “there is one born every minute?”

Definitely do not get involved in any pyramid schemes. Usually the only people who tend to make money in these types businesses are the ones who are at the top of the pyramid. Most people end up losing money in these and they have been made illegal in many countries around the world.

Be very wary of any businesses that claim that you can make a fortune working only a few hours a week. If they were as good as they claimed to be why are they selling the secret to you for such a small sum of money?

Finally never pay upfront for any home working business opportunity where they refuse to reveal full details until you have paid them a large sum of money.

Some home based franchises are extremely good. The great thing about buying a franchise is that in most cases you can speak to other franchisees and find out how well they are faring. They will be happy to tell you all about the franchisor, the products and the difficulties that they encountered.

Always speak to an accountant and lawyer before signing any franchise agreements and paying over any sums of money. A home based business does have its rewards and if you find the right opportunity it could be the start of a new life.

About the Author:

Naz Daud Business Franchise Opportunity Business Directory & Franchises Ireland Franchises

Read more articles by: Naz Daud

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

Don't Be Scammed: Know The Real Money Making Ideas That Work

This article tells you how to identify scam web sites, how they work and how to keep away from them. But how do you know if your trading is truly optimized or if there is room for improvement and more money to be made with it? If it could be better, is it you or your system and how can you tell?

Trading systems, like automobile engines, are never 100% efficient and there are parallels between the two that can be useful to you. There are many concepts from Mechanical Engineering which can be utilized in Trading. One in particular is the Carnot Cycle.

The ultimate engine would convert every joule of the chemical energy in the fuel to work as that is the engine's primary purpose. In the real world, a certain amount of that chemical energy is lost to heat, friction, entropy and other inefficiencies.

For any given trading system executed perfectly, there will always be a certain percentage of trades that are not profitable and a certain portion that are. Additionally, most systems are based on lagging indicators and even "predictive" systems still rely on historical data. No system out here will pick the exact top and bottom of every market move, so the size of actual gains and losses is also a factor in the profit potential. So how can you tell what is the true potential of your trading system?

Back in 1824 Nicolas Leonard Sadi Carnot developed a thermodynamic model called the Carnot Cycle for engines which provides the maximum output that can be expected from any given type of engine. For example the Carnot Cycle for a diesel engine shows the absolute maximum work output that any diesel engine could attain.

This thermodynamic model was and is particularly useful for combustion engine design because in very clear mathematical terms, the Carnot cycle represents the ideal cycle possible. It clearly identifies and illustrates the greatest achievable efficiency for a given engine type.

Even a perfectly designed and manufactured diesel or gas engine can only hope to achieve the efficiency of the Carnot Cycle as calculated in the thermodynamic analysis. There will always be losses due to heat and entropy.

Fuel efficiency in automobiles has substantial consequence to all of us both direct and indirect as it impacts the cost of transportation for both ourselves and goods we buy.

Efficiency in Trading also has both direct and indirect consequence as it impacts both our account and our quality of life. Profitable trading provides monetary rewards and personal gratification, while inefficient trading can have a severe negative impact on our self-esteem and our quality of life.

Like the Carnot engine, you can determine the maximum potential for your trading system through backtesting it under ideal conditions, when every trade is executed perfectly in the market of your choice according to the rules and indicators of the system. Since most systems and software make use of lagging indicators, it is important to make sure that during backtesting you trade the system exactly according to the system.

During this process, you can make determinations that have direct financial benefit:

- what the true maximum profitability is for your system

- you would have a baseline or reference point for long- term planning for your trading.

- see if you've had reasonable or unrealistic expectations for your system and your profitability.

- if you find that your system is not capable of results that are satisfactory to you, then you need to look at possibly modifying or replacing your chosen system.

- if your system is capable but you haven't been seeing the results you expect, then you know to look for opportunities for improvement in how you trade.

- if you find that you've been making specific mistakes due to emotions influencing your trading, then improving your emotional management would be the most likely way to have a substantial impact on your results.

A focus on continuous improvement is a mindset and practice that has direct financial rewards for traders that pursue it.

Regardless of the markets you trade or the system you use, emotional management is imperative to realize the most from your trading, as this is one of the most common inefficiencies.

In Trading, inefficiencies are losses and missed profits and add up considerably over the course of a year. Having a clear understanding of what your system's possible best is, then identifying those inefficiencies in your trading is empowering and rewarding both financially and personally.

About the Author:

Brian McAboy helps traders of futures, Forex, commodities, stock and options improve their trading profit-ability. They have argued that the rising oil prices have caused a higher inflation. If the political leaders of this world meet in these days, they state that they are concerned about the climbing oil costs. They fear that the economy could be affected in a negative way. The daily press also reflects these fears.

More Innovations Thanks Former Oil Shocks

The history of former oil price shocks 1973 and in the beginning of the eighties has displayed, that these events have boosted innovation. Old buildings have been renovated and energy has been saved. Jobs and income opportunities have been created in a lot of small businesses that help to save fuel and energy.

Domestic Expenses Instead Of Fuel Imports

The trend to more energy independence has a benevolent effect for the economies of the industrialised countries. Higher costs of oil and fuel imports help pushing the efforts of a better energy efficient use of the energy. Domestic companies, most of them small businesses and engineering firms, develop solutions for an energy efficient use. Farmers detect new opportunities. They grow plants for the production of bio-diesel and ethanol that can serve as complementary fuels to gasoline or petrol. Step by step more money flows in the domestic market. The oil sheiks still get a lot of money, but an increasing share of the energy related expenses will be spent inside the domestic economy.

Green Investment Funds Are Booming

The above thesis is underlined by the boom of green investment funds. These are funds that invest in energy efficient running companies. Most of these companies create higher return-on-investments than the average. Their stocks show an over average performance at the stock markets.

New opportunities arise in the field of renewable energies. Photovoltaic firms, wind power energy companies grow very fast. Their shares perform dozens, if not more than hundred percent a year. Investment funds that specialise in these branches are very popular.

Use the Challenge

The added value of all these activities remains in the domestic economy. Entrepreneurs, “energy-farmers”, employees, and investors in these branches get more money in their pockets. They need to spend it, what propels the domestic market. If the challenge of rising oil and fuel costs is used, more and more people can benefit. An example is the traffic. High fuel prices will enforce more fuel economy and methods to a better gas mileage, e.g. more miles per gallon or more kilometres per litre. This will be another great “battle field”, because the fuel consumption still increases in the field of traffic. The use of energy will only be affordable in the future, if it is done energy-, cost- and eco-efficiently.

About the Author:

Lil Waldner is a business economist. Unfortunately, there are so many internet scams that exist that many people are afraid to join an online program. However, not all programs are scams and there are many legitimate opportunities as well. There is always someone that is willing to take a chance on internet opportunities. If you are not that type of person, then you will never find the right opportunity.

Success is determined by having the right attitude and choosing to succeed. If you believe that your business will fail, then it most likely will. However, having a positive attitude can help you nurture and grow your business. You first must make the decision to take advantage of the program.

It is not always easy to identify an opportunity that has potential for growth and success. There are some businesses that offer people a chance to create their own business following their business model. Many people are unwilling to take advantage of these opportunities because they do not wish to follow the direction of someone else.

Many people are reluctant to join franchises because they will not have complete control over their own business, however franchises offer a successful business model. You can be driving a successful business without the need to create your own strategies.

When you come across an opportunity online, you should research it thoroughly to make sure it is not a scam. Read all the reviews and you may also want to check with the BBB to ensure that the company is legitimate. Once you find one that is genuine, put in the time and take advantage of the opportunity. You will see success.

About the Author:

You Could Be Making $2,000 - $5,000 Of Extra Income Per Month http://myworldplus-freedom.eoltt.com

Read more articles by: Katie Ford

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

Explode Your Business With Viral Marketing!

This is one virtue a site must possess to lead the race in the ruthless competition in the Internet based business. With so much competition and rivalry going on, every method of marketing must be employed and utilized.

It doesn’t matter if you have a killer product or a fantastically designed website, if people don’t know that you exist, it doesn’t matter, and you are not going to make it big. Worst of all, you business could just get killed.

While there are so many methods and schemes used by so many e-commerce sites today, there are still some of those that can help you with an extra boost in the popularity ratings. One of these is the so called Viral Marketing.

While the term Viral easily depicts a virus, a word very much dreaded by all computer owners, it is not what it seems. You do not actually use a computer virus to spread your business; on the contrary it just might kill you. Everyone has had enough of all those pop up ads and spyware.

Viral Marketing Overview

Viral Marketing also known otherwise as Viral Advertising is a marketing technique used to build the public awareness of one’s product or company. They use many forms of media to reach out to the public without actually promoting the product by riding on in other forms of addictive means that could get a person hooked and be obliged or amused to actually pass it on, with the product or company advertisement along with it.

In a nutshell, companies ride on the idea that if people like the content of a media they will pass it on to their friends and family. They sponsor the certain media, such as a cool flash game, funny video, amusing story and such, which one may pass on to another with the company brand or logo or the products description or any other content to help promote the company or its product.

Viral marketing has become a popular means of advertising and marketing because they are relatively low cost. To avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on the eagerness of one person to pas on the product. If a person sees the name of the person they know as the sender, they won’t block it and open it as well.

Many companies offer incentives such as discounts and rebates when they help in spreading their viral marketing. They rely on the number of recipients a viral marketing gets from one person in determining the amount or number of incentive they can be attributed with.

Using Viral Marketing to your advantage

The main and foremost advantage of viral marketing is that you get a lot of publicity and public awareness about your site and your company. You get to generate a flow of traffic that are potential customers. With a little ingenuity and imagination, plus some incentives or prizes, you can reach out to a great number of people and announce your existence.

Most sites and companies are catching on to the effectiveness of Viral Marketing and Advertising. Not using it could kill your business. Along with other schemes and methods in promoting your site, like Search Engine Optimization and such, viral marketing could easily push you ahead in the rating games.

Viral Marketing could be a sneaky way to get people to know about you and your company. You get them to pass your advertisement along. They are also very low cost that not investing in it could be downright a business suicide. All it takes is a great idea, a good addicting game, a funny story many ideas are still out there. Create gossip or a buzz. Many movies are promoted by using scandals and gossips to make them more popular. Remember the movie “The Blair Witch Project”?

Many big companies have tried viral marketing and have had many success stories with it. A classic example is Microsoft’s Hotmail. They were the first known big company to utilize the scheme and it has worked wonders for them.

Now it’s your turn to use viral marketing to work wonders for you. Act now and reap the benefits Viral Marketing will provide for you and your sales figures.

About the Author:

Justin Blake one of the web's foremost experts in Viral Marketing. The best way to achieve success with this program is to be sure to follow the rules and regulations. Google is extremely serious about its policies and will not hesitate to terminate your account if you break these rules.

Here are some of the most important Dos and Don’ts for using the program:

· Do Not ever click on your own ads. This is number one because it is by far the most important. Google makes it abundantly clear that this practice will not be tolerated.

· Don’t participate in the Google Adsense program strictly for the money. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It will take time and hard work to make a profit.

· Don’t ask your friends and family to click on your ads. Rather, earn money by referring them to the Google Adsense program.

· Don’t panic if you don’t understand everything the first day. The Google Adsense program is extremely user-friendly, but it may still take a little time to familiarize you with all of the intricacies’ of the program.

· Do be sure to thoroughly read and understand Google’s terms and conditions before you begin.

· Do pay a visit some other sites that are benefiting from Google Adsense. Click on the ads only if you are truly interested in the product or service being advertised. Read other people’s blogs and comment on them. Only offer a comment though if it is truly sincere.

· Do try to make the content of your site as useful to your target audience and enjoyable for yourself. This will increase your visitors and your Adsense earnings.

· Do realize it does take some time and hard work. That’s why it is so important that you write about something you care about it is that much harder if you don’t like what you’re doing.

· Do take advantage of themed ad units; these units are specifically tailored to users in the appropriate locations as determined by their IP address. These ads have special colors and graphics to celebrate the season! For instance, a user in the United States might see colors and graphics appropriate to the Fourth of July while users everywhere could see colors and graphics for New Years Day.

· Do take time to learn all you can about Adsense. Sign into your account and you will find many useful tutorials that will help you to have success with Adsense. Ad placement, color and style are things that should be taken into careful consideration.

The more you learn about how to use Adsense the more successful you will become. Hopefully, these tips will ease you into using the program and help you avoid mistakes that could possibly cost you a lot of time or money. Remember to have fun. After all, it’s free and if you’re persistent you’ll see your Google Adsense dollars adding up.

About the Author:

Carol King-The Home Biz Lady. Say goodbye to your cramped office space. Say goodbye to office politics. Say goodbye to the 9 to 5, five to seven day per week work regime.

Say hello to the freedom of EARNING AN INCOME ONLINE by establishing your very own HOME BASED INTERNET BUSINESS.

Home Business Entrepreneurs can receive tax-breaks for legitimate business expenses. Tax breaks at years end on various expenditure such as the lease or purchase of computers, printers and scanners is just one area of tax relief. Basically anything used in the pursuit of your HOME BASED INTERNET BUSINESS can be claimed, but ensure you investigate each claim with your Accountant or Financial Adviser. After all, you don’t want the tax-man on your back! Your Home Business stationery, and even a proportionate share of your domestic telephone and electricity accounts as well as other overhead expenses should be on your mind come tax time.

How many times have you arrived at your workplace tired, wanting to doze off during meetings and wishing there was a bed in the next room, or just wanting to get out of there and be back in the comfort of your own home? Well, working from the comfort of your own home allows you to dictate your work hours so you need never be tired while working and, you can take a nap whenever you so desire.

We all like to save money and your HOME BASED INTERNET BUSINESS is an ideal opportunity to do so. No more outlaying countless dollars on a wardrobe full of new clothes and shoes. If you are working five to seven days a week, that is a lot of clothes just for the purpose of looking fresh and different each day. WORKING FROM HOME allows you to work in whatever you feel most comfortable in. Pyjamas, shorts and t-shirt, your underwear, even naked! If choosing the last option you may need to make sure that you have good quality window coverings!!

Just think of the money to be saved on public transport fares, or those very costly motor vehicle expenses. The cost of gas/petrol for instance is rapidly rising beyond normal inflationary percentages. You will spend far less on gas, tyres, oil and general vehicle maintenance, and your motor vehicle will last for a much longer period of time which relates to a HUGE cost-saving for you.

Eating at home is also a proven method of saving money. It is expensive to continually purchase your lunch from restaurants, take-away food stores etc. It is far more cost-effective to shop in bulk for food and beverages at your supermarket, or to raid your refrigerator for last nights leftovers. You will be pleasantly surprised at just how much you can save by merely eating at home.

WORKING FROM HOME allows flexibility in planning for tasks and appointments not directly involving your HOME BASED INTERNET BUSINESS. You can schedule appointments to see your Doctor, Dentist, Accountant etc., book your car in for a service, watch your kids at school or sporting events, visit friends and relatives, and attend social events at anytime and not have to concern yourself by seeking the time-off from your employer. And the tradesperson who says he will be there between 10am and 3pm will no longer annoy you by not being more specific with his timing, Why? Because time is no longer a problem when you are WORKING FROM HOME at your HOME BASED INTERNET BUSINESS.

About the Author:

Yours In Success Kevin Hiscock http://www.earn-at-home-and-relax.com http://www.broadlands-at-tambo.com

Read more articles by: Kevin Hiscock

Article Source: www.iSnare.com

Your Internet Business-- How Kids Can Help

Doing business online can be a real challenge. It can be difficult to keep up with the latest technology and product trends. If you don't have time to do your homework because you are too busy working a full-time job and taking care of a family, it may make things seem impossible if you are not internet savvy. There are definitely some perks having a technology, marketing and product development staff at your place of employment. Just thinking about all of the people it takes to operate a viable business is overwhelming. I have spent many hours reading e-books and watching videos about how to make money online. Because I grew up in the 80s and graduated from college just before the internet was born, like a lot of us, I was never formally educated on the subject, so it was not second nature. I have been labeled by some as "the internet queen" because that is where I can be found during most of my free time. But let me set the record straight, I am far from living up to that name.

Here is a little background about myself just to give you an idea of how my mind works. It doesn't involve much technology. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology. Most of my work has involved kids who are neglected and/or abused. Fighting the desire to throw the laptop on my desk out of the nearest window because it won't cooperate, is probably the most technological thing that I do at work. Don't get me wrong, I have learned a lot about computers over past seven years. Sometimes I get lucky and fix the office printer or help someone with who is having problems with their computer. I will admit that sometimes I have no idea how I did it, but please don't tell anyone. It would ruin my "internet queen" reputation.

So, what I know best is kids. One thing I always say to parents is that, unlike adults, kids are like sponges. They can watch T.V, play a video game and hear every word of your adult conversations, all at the same time. One thing I always tell kids is that, just because I am an adult, does not mean that I can't learn anything from them. Kids seem to have the ability to retain a lot more information at once than adults, so the internet is not as frustrating for them as it is for some of us. So, what does all of this have to do with operating an online business? I used to think it had nothing to do with it until I came to my senses.

Kids these days have grown up on the web. They are aware of fashion and the latest trends. They know what they want and how to push all the right buttons so their parents will get it for them. They also know the limits of what to ask for. So, where do I go when I need help with understanding a program that makes no sense or want to know about the hottest selling items? I ask kids. My eleven-year-old niece and her friends helped me choose jewelry from one of my wholesalers to resell. I had no trouble selling what they chose. They know what their parents and other adults are looking for also. If you don't think your kids ever listen to you or know what you want or are interested in, ask them. You might be surprised to find that they listen to you more than you think. My niece tells me everything her friend's parents are looking for also. She listens to them, too! Kids are great marketers and know what advertisements make them want an item and why. Want to know a great blog site to advertise a product? Chances are a kid can tell you. They are also great researchers. If they don't know, they can find out, and usually it is faster than you can find it. Also, don't overlook the local high school and college computer geeks. That is where you should go when you need a webpage designed or get the answers to your tech questions. They work cheap and sometimes for free. Always reward them in some way, even if it just taking them out to dinner or helping them with something in return. You don't want to take advantage of them just because they are kids. They learn how to treat others by observing their parents and other adults and will mirror these behaviors. It is good way to teach moral values to our future adults. Keep in mind that this is the generation that will be responsible for taking care of you when you are too old to take care of yourself!

Hopefully, I have convinced you that kids can be an important and profitable part of your online business. Learn from them! They love to teach and their patience is usually better than ours. They are kids. They know what it is like for others to be impatient with them which helps them to be more empathetic and less irritated when they have to show you the same thing a hundred times. It's also a great way to spend quality time with a child and even teach them the value of work and the rewards to be gained. Give them praises for their skill, knowledge and help. There is nothing wrong with boosting a child's self-esteem along the way. Your business will be more successful when you give back to others in the process!

About the Author:

Nancy Cleary has spent a great deal of her time doing research to find resources and advice about doing business online.
